Neuromuscular Evaluation and Treatment Plans – 16 hr Seminar
A key factor in attaining a high rate of success with NMT is the use of a very precise and thorough treatment of the muscles treated. This course is designed to make the therapist even more adept at a thorough evaluation to know which tissues to pay more attention to. The therapist will look at the complaints, posture analysis, range of motion. movement pattern analysis, some basic orthopedic testing, and charting of trigger point and nerve pathways. Suspected muscles are noted at each phase of the evaluation, and then a palpation exam determines which muscles are actually involved. A treatment plan is then written to address the best priority and sequence to treat these muscles in order to obtain optimal results each treatment session. This approach considers multiple potential sources of pain for each individual, allowing the highest success rates in the most efficient manner.
